At the Mayor and Council’s February 15, 2024 meeting, several professionals presented on a comprehensive plan for upgrades to the Watchung Library located at 12 Stirling Road. That meeting video can be found in our video library.

At this same meeting, Phoenix Advisors and Archer and Greiner presented on the funding source. A copy of the bond ordinance (24/03) can be found on this page.

The Library at 12 Stirling Road will undergo renovations. Potter Architects, LLC will be working with the Borough on Phases 2 through 6 in connection with the rehabilitation of the Watchung Library. As of June 5^th a temporary branch will be located at 20 Stirling Road with limited hours of operation.
