Somerset County Engineering Division’s Public Information Center for Hillcrest Road on July 29th

Public Information Center Notice

Somerset County Engineering Division will conduct a Public Information Center (PIC) for the Hillcrest Road (CR 531) Improvements from Valley Road to Crestwood Drive project to present the proposed improvements, construction staging and detours, and the project schedule.

The meeting will also provide an opportunity for local residents, public officials, and other interested members of the public to ask questions regarding the proposed design and construction of the project.

This section of County Route 531 has a poor crash ranking on New Jersey roadway screening lists, as well as on the most recent statewide High Injury Network (HIN) list. The proposed improvements are intended to address the identified safety concerns based on the completed studies, collected data, engineering analyses, and findings.

This meeting will be held in-person on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A presentation will be made at 7:00 PM. Members of the public will be able to speak with the County's engineers and consultant representatives to ask questions. This meeting is open to all members of the public.
